About the time you are 9 weeks pregnant you have begun to notice a lot of differences. You feel pregnant now! You may begin to have some moodiness. This is only because of the shift in your hormone levels and nothing to worry about. You may be very excited one minute and scared the next. These are normal feelings that are associated with pregnancy. You may also find that you cry at what seem like silly little things. It may bring you some relief to remind yourself that it is simply because of the shifting hormones associated with pregnancy. You may also be tired a large portion of the time and this can add to the shifting moods.

You have probably begun to notice changes in your abdomen by now. Your stomach is beginning to expand and others can now sense that you are pregnant. A common term for this is “showing” which just means your body is starting to show the world that there is a baby being formed inside.

At 9 weeks pregnant there are some uncomfortable things that may start happening. You may begin to feel real bloated a lot of the time. You may also experience a lot more gas than usual. This is totally normal at this stage of pregnancy. If you find that you are burping more and have more flatulence it is once again due to the changing hormone levels in your body. The main culprit is progesterone, as levels begin to elevate so will these unpleasant symptoms.

Your baby is also making a lot of changes during this stage. It has grown to be between 20 and 30 mm long. That’s about how big a large grape is. The baby still weighs in at less than an ounce, but it won’t be long until it really begins to grow and gain weight fast.

The baby has already formed its physical body; the head, legs, arms and body. The limbs and organs are also forming quickly during this stage. They are also beginning to function on their own.

The eyelids are still fused shut and they won’t open again until later in its development. The face is forming and becoming clearer each day and you can make out the nose, mouth and nostrils. It is not yet possible to tell the sex of the baby although they already have formed sex organs. In another 9 weeks the doctor should be able to tell the sex of the child.

I am 9 weeks pregnant and it seems that my nausea and breast tenderness have really toned down over the last week or so. Thery are still there but not with the intensity that they were originally. I did just start taking a prenatal vitamin around the time of the decrease but I don’t know if that has anything to do with it. I had a miscarriage in my last pregnancy and I am of course thinking something else is wrong:( With this pregnancy we did see a heart beat at 6 weeks so I thought everything was fine…

Ok so i am now 9 weeks, but in the pictures i provided i was 7 weeks and 4 days. I am wondering why all of a sudden am i this big, i have 1 son, but have been pregnant 5 other times. Long story, 2 mc, 1 ectopic, 1 ab, and 1 child. My friend says its probably because i have been pregnant so many times back to back, my uterus never really shrinks all the way back down, but i do not believe that, because my stomach was as flat as a door, before i found out i was pregnant.

I am not looking for any real medical explanations, but please do not be smart or say stupid stuff like im just fat, because i was only 100 punds before i got pregnant with this one,now i am 107..

Either I am in the middle of a threatened miscarriage or already in the process of losing my pregnancy.

This is my third pregnancy. My symptoms haven’t been like my last two, as every pregnancy is different. Well out of the blue, today, well yesterday (12 hours ago) .. 2 pm on the 18th, well I went to the bathroom, and noticed brown discharge …. and some bright red blood.

I freaked out, and finished up and noticed there was bright red blood and some tissue/clot on the toilet paper.

I went in to the ER, cause it was bleeding, and I filled about half a pad. By the time I was seen the bright red, faded to light brown and light red blood and lots of liquidy discharge. I also had extreme cramping start, that felt like I was in early labor.

It started just in my lower abdomen, then worked its way to my back, and now thighs, over a 12 hour period.

They did … pelvic, UA, HCG blood, and U/S.

Pelvic, showed i had a very sensitive and tender cervix and uterus AND my cervix is closed though, and no active bleeding from cervix) UA no ifections (bladder, UTI), HCG – they didn’t tell me the levels I will find out at my appointment next Thursday. and the U/S …

they had trouble finding a heartbeat …. he didn’t say he didn’t find one, but he didn’t say he did … he ALSO didn’t say they baby is wiggling around like crazy …. you wanna see … he said do you want to see, the sac.

There was a yolk sac, and gest sac. No visible heartbeat …. I didn’t see baby moving when I looked at screen. i even asked if it was dead before i looked. I don’t want to get my hopes up ….

the doctor said, i may not be as far along as dates proved ( + test on july 1st, HPT) (visiible pregnancy at 2100 levels 2 weeks later) … so by this i am sure my due date is right on, as 8 days before my + HPT i had a – blood test!

well i have had even more spotting and more bright red blood clots come out (when I am up and walking around, not when i am resting and lying down) … my cramping has gotten even worse, but I am just waiting it out, I dont want to go back to ER for nothing!!!

What do you think??? Any thoughts are welcome and much appreciated! I just hate having to wait a week, which is what they told me that I had to wait!!!!
